We tried these when we were home for Christmas, they are to die for. They are so good. I especially love the frosting on them. I hope you like them as much as I do. Thanks Becca, for sharing this recipe with Susan.
2 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Mix till creamy.
In a separate bowl mix:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
4 cup flour
Gradually mix dry ingredients into butter mix, alternating with a 15 oz. carton of ricotta cheese. Bake 350 for 12 minutes..don't overbake. Cool and frost. Enjoy!
Frosting
1/3 of 8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
mix well, adding 3-4 cups powdered sugar to preferred likeness.
